BIOGRAPHY

Sam George is the Director of the Global Diaspora Institute of the Wheaton College Billy Graham Center, near Chicago, USA, and serves as a Catalyst for diasporas of the Lausanne Movement. He serves as a visiting faculty annually at five seminaries across Asia, Africa, the Caribbeans, and the US and is one of the leading scholars on global missiology and diaspora missions.

Originally from India and was also stationed in Singapore, Hong Kong, and the UK for work and studies. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Management, Theology, and Missiology. He worked in the technology industry for nearly a decade before studying at Fuller and Princeton Seminaries in the US and completed his PhD under the tutelage of Prof. Andrew Walls.

Dr. George has authored or edited a dozen books including a three-book series on Asian Diaspora Christianity and was quoted in the New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Christianity Today, Outreach Magazine, and other media outlets.
