Opening Ceremony

The conference begins with a vibrant celebration designed to set the tone for three transformative days. Through worship, prayer, and a rich cultural showcase of music, dance, and storytelling, we will honor our shared African heritage and Christian faith. This gathering is more than a opening—it’s a declaration of who we are as a global family, united across continents and generations. Get ready to be inspired, uplifted, and prepared to build bridges of oneness, prosperity, and generosity.

Building Bridges: A Timely Call for Pan-African Unity and Transformation

This opening plenary sets the stage by asking powerful questions:

  • Who are we—collectively as Africans and across the Diaspora—and why does that matter for our shared future?
  • How do we see ourselves today, and how should we see ourselves through the lens of Christ—rooted in dignity, pride, and purpose?

Attendees will be challenged and inspired to shift their mindset—breaking free from limiting beliefs, reclaiming narratives of possibility and ownership, and embracing principles of self-determination, self-reliance, and interdependence.

Grounded in biblical truth, you’ll walk away with:

  • Real-life strategies that make transformation tangible.
  • Practical examples that spark confidence and action.
  • Clear steps for individuals and communities to live out a renewed, Christ-centered identity.

This is more than a conversation. It’s a call to rise together—to build bridges of oneness, prosperity, and generosity that carry us into lasting change.

Across the Waters: Bridging Africans and the Diaspora in Dialogue

We’re connected by roots but separated by oceans, history, and misunderstandings. Let’s talk collaboration. How can the Diaspora support each other and Africa more meaningfully? What can Africa give back? It’s time to close the gap.

Passing the Torch – Emerging Voices in Global Leadership

What happens when the next generation takes the mic? In this dynamic session, young changemakers share bold perspectives on leadership—what it means today, where it must go, and how older and younger generations can work together to shape the future.

This isn’t just about passing the torch—it’s about sparking new fires of vision, courage, and action.

Innovation Hubs: Shaping Solutions for the Future

At the heart of AFReG 5 ADCC 2025 lies a conviction: that the time has come for Africans and people of African descent to take ownership of our collective destiny. To do so effectively, we must strategically invest in areas that create unity, shape identity, influence power structures, and generate long-term prosperity. Our focus on key Innovation Hubs—Business and Trade (Economic Sustainability), Health and Well-being, Creative (Media, Arts and Entertainment), Education and Haiti—is grounded in both the urgent needs and the unique opportunities facing our communities.

These hubs are dynamic breakout sessions designed to move us from conversation to action, designed to be spaces of honest dialogue and collaboration. More than just discussions, they’re incubators of change, designed to spark ideas, partnerships, and initiatives that will live far beyond the conference. Bring your ideas, your energy, and let’s build something amazing—one hub at a time!

Day 1 – Take a deep dive into the challenges, gaps, and barriers within each hub, naming the realities that hold us back, setting the stage for transformation.

JAMAICA RISING...TOGETHER

Hands & Hearts in Action Day of Service (Optional)

As we gather for AFReG 5 African Diaspora Christian Conference (ADCC) 2026, we do so with an awareness that our time in Jamaica coincides with a season of recovery for many of our brothers and sisters on the island. Hurricane Melissa, which impacted western Jamaica, the conference venue, in November 2025, caused significant damage to homes, churches, schools, and community infrastructure. While rebuilding efforts are underway, many families and communities continue to need support, encouragement, and practical assistance.

In keeping with the conference theme, Building Bridges for Oneness, Prosperity, and Generosity, we are offering an optional fourth day dedicated to service. Hands & Hearts in Action Day of Service provides an opportunity to give of our time, strength, and compassion, expressing the Generosity pillar of our theme in a tangible and meaningful way.

Although the conference officially ends on Friday, 1 May, attendees are invited to participate in a morning of hands-on community service on Saturday, 2 May alongside conference leaders, local churches, and community partners.

We are working closely with Jamaican churches, community organizations, and relief partners to identify meaningful and responsible service opportunities. These may include:
  • Community clean-up and recovery efforts
  • Supporting families impacted by the hurricane
  • Assisting local churches, schools, or shelters
  • Distribution of essential supplies
  • Offering encouragement and prayer with residents
Further details will be shared before or by the first week of March. For planning purposes, participants can expect to return to Iberostar no later than 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, 2 May 2026.

This optional day is an invitation to move beyond gathering and into giving, standing with Jamaica not only in words, but in action.

Three powerful days of testimonies, real-life stories, and practical insights to ignite your faith and equip you for lasting impact. Stay for an optional fourth day, Hands & Hearts in Action Day of Service and turn inspiration into action by serving communities in Jamaica.
